What is YOUR Assignment?
I think that churches should do the very best that they can to Communicate with Excellence. I also think that each individual Christian should work hard at using their gifts and talents to the highest level of excellence and impact that they are able. In order to do that though, you really need to have focus. You really need to know your assignment. I have been personally challenged on this topic several times in the past two weeks.
That applies to a church and to an individual. Similar but different. For a church – what has God called your church to do with excellence? Who are you there to reach? For an individual – what did God create you to accomplish – what is your purpose? In both cases, you can not do everything. The more you do, the more “thin” you become to the point where you do nothing with excellence.
