Thanks Brad! I just think that design is so important in our culture and we can not reach out with any credibility if our church graphics are irrelevant!

Excellent article! As a designer, former Church Creative Director and current church planter I completely affirm your opinion! Churches who don't spend the time and effort to craft a well-thought out brand aren't fully engaging with the creative element in our culture.

Great reminder!

Thanks for sharing Jill. I looked at the site and a nice job was done to represent the heritage of the church and the denomination in the logo and the site. It makes all the difference having it done professionally and with excellence.

We as a parish agree with your comments, and at end of last year worked with a parishioner/designer to overhaul what was more of a shield than a logo for our parish. The end result is fabulous and more importantly led to the overhaul of the web site. With all this done, we can attest that newcomers have commented that our overall look, branding, web site, and more was cause for them to visit and ultimately join! Take a look at what we've done: www.stthomasepiscopal.org.
