What Will You Do That No One Else Is Doing?
How do you feel when you read this quote?
“The church’s message never changes but its methods must change.” – Craig Groeschel
I know for a fact that for some of you I would hear an immediate ‘Amen”. From others it probably illicits uncertainty and a myriad of other thoughts and emotions. Often churches do not like to “change”.
I for one agree with the statement whole-heartedly. We must change the way we interact with our culture, how we communicate, how we package, how we intersect, and how we use marketing tools to capture the imagination of those we come in contact with to share the message of hope that is found in the life changing reality of a relationship with Jesus.
Take a few minutes to listen to Craig…
What do you think this means for you? For your church? Do you agree or disagree? How do you feel? If you agree, what types of things should we/you/your church be doing that no one else is doing to bring this awesome news to our communities? Please share your thoughts in the comments section below…
