Be Helpful

By David Tonen • September 18th, 2009

Your church marketing has to be helpful.

What do I mean by that?  Make sure that every marketing tool you create points to your church web site so people can get all the information they need and want about your church and any related event or invitation you are extending.

Your church web site is the center, the hub of all the marketing tools you use.  Today, everything needs to point back to the web site.  Hence, your church web site must be great.  It must be professional, it must make a respectable first impression, and it must be helpful.

Yes, your web site must answer all the questions a visitor might have.  Make it easy for them to navigate and find out everything they need to know so they can make an informed decision to act on what you are asking them to do.

Most church marketing campaigns have a call to action.  It usually is an invitation.  Make sure your invitation is helpful…make sure it inspires the recipient to say yes to the invite!

Is your church marketing helpful?
