Oh How Marketing Has Changed!

These are exciting days to be in “marketing”.  Marketing is changing.  The marketing mix is getting much more complicated.  Below is a great graphic created by Shiv Singh that beautifully illustrates all the tools now in a brand manager’s toolbox for advertising.  I think you can easily see how things are evolving!  Click on the graphic for a larger version:

Now remember that marketing is much more than just advertising.   How this applies to churches is that a church that will take their communication channels and messaging seriously really needs to hire a consultant.  Someone who can help them navigate through the options that will best help them communicate their message internally and externally.  It is more complex than ever – yet the impact, effectiveness, and affordability is greater than ever.

Churches…please leverage the tools that will help you communicate with excellence – but get some help!
