Are Magazines Still Relevant in 2011?

By David Tonen • October 16th, 2011

You may be wondering what happened to me…

It has been a busy time over the past few months and finding time for blogging has indeed been a challenge. It certainly has not been due to not having something to say or not wanting to!  One of my side-projects has been a new magazine that I have been involved with.  A group of us felt felt there was a need for a magazine that would encourage Christians to live out their faith in the workplace.  So, we have launched a Christian business magazine called Integrity.

The first edition is now published in print and digital format. I welcome you to take a look and provide me with any feedback. I welcome it all!  And at the same time I want your response on this question…given our curent culture and media spectrum, are magazines still relevant today?

I think that, yes, magazines are relevant.

I DO NOT LIKE the digital magazine, with the virtual page flip. Print it. Mail it.
And no, I’m not an old fuddy-duddy.

Thanks for that feedback. Yes, print vs digital is very much a personal preference. I too am not an old fuddy-duddy and I prefer the feel of the real-deal. That’s why we did print a print version as well! Today, you have to find balance and give both optons. If you want a print copy, send me your mailing address via e-mail (David@DavidTonen.com) and I’ll mail you one for free.
